oatmeal raisin bread

- mix
- ¼ lb. butter, softened
- 1/3 c. honey
- 2 t. salt
- 1 c. milk, scalded
- 2 eggs
- mix in seperate bowl
- 2 T. yeast
- ¼ c. lukewarm water
- mix the mixtures together
- mix
- 2 c. flour
- 1 t. cinnamon
- 1/2 t. nutmeg
- 3 eggs
- add egg mixture to other mixtures
- add
- 1½ c. rolled oats
- 1½ c. raisins
- 1¼ c. flour
- ½ c. untoasted wheat germ
- knead well
- let rise until doubled in size
- knead again
- place in 2 buttered loaf pans
- let rise again
- bake 40-45 minutes
- yield: 2 loaves

- combine
- 3 c. flour
- 1 T. sugar
- 2 T. yeast
- 2 t. salt
- ¼ t. baking soda
- heat until very warm (120°-130°)
- 2 c. milk
- ½ c. water
- beat mixtures together until well mixed
- stir in until stiff batter is made
- 2½-3 c. flour
- place into 2 greased loaf pans, sprinkled with cornmeal
- sprinkle tops with
- cornmeal
- cover
- let rise in warm place 45 minutes
- bake at 400° for 25 minutes
- remove from pans and cool
- yield: 2 loavaes, 16 slices per loaf

- knead in
- 4-5 c. flour
- let rise
- bake at 400° until light brown

- preheat oven to 425°
- grease baking sheet
- mix
- 1¼ c. warm water
- 1 T. yeast
- knead in
- 2 T. sugar
- 3½-4 c. flour
- 1½ t. salt
- 2 T. oil
- shape into 24 pretzels and place on prepared baking sheet
- brush and sprinkle (optional)
- milk
- sea salt
- let set 15 minutes
- bake 15-20 minutes
- yield: 24 pretzels

- knead in
- 3 T. corn syrup
- 2 T. molasses
- 1 t. oil
- 2 t. salt
- 4-5 c. flour
- shape into bagels, adding
- cinnamon sugar
- jalepeno slices/red pepper flakes
- garlic
- chopped onions/poppy seeds
- cheese
- allow to rise
- boil
- water
- 2 T. sugar
- drop bagels in water
- flip after 20 seconds
- bake 30 minutes on cookie sheet with cornmeal
- yield: 8 large bagels

- spray 3 pie pans
- mix together

- ¾ c. instant potatoes
- ½ c. butter
- ½ c. powdered milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 t. salt
- 2 t. vanilla
- ½ t. ginger
- 1 c. pineapple juice
- 6½-7 c. flour in halves
- place in pans
- bake 25 minutes

- sift into bowl
- 4 c. flour
- 3 t. baking powder
- 1 t. salt
- 3 t. sugar
- in seperate bowl, mix
- warm water
- 1 T. yeast
- combine all yeast with flour mixure
- cut in
- 3 T. shortening
- add until dry dough forms
- warm water (1 c. or so)
- let dough set 20 minutes
- roll out 1/4 inch thick
- cut into pieces
- fry
- roll in either
- brown sugar
- cinnamon

crusty pizza dough
- mix
- 1 T. yeast
- 1 c. warm water
- mix in
- 1/2 t. salt
- 2 t. oil
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- continually add additional flour until dough clings to hook, cleaning sides of bowl
- in greased bowl, cover in greased plastic wrap
- allow to rise until doubled in size
- spread dough across pizza pan
- decorate the pizza
- bake at 450º for 15-20 minutes
- yield: 1 1/2 – 2 pizzas

- heat in small saucepan until very warm (120º-130º)
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. honey
- 1/3 c. butter
- mix in bowl
- 5 c. flour
- 1 c. oatmeal
- 2 t. salt
- 2 T. yeast
- gradually add
- warm liquids
- 2 eggs
- add until dough clings to hook and cleans sides of bowl
- 1/2 – 1 1/2 c. flour
- knead for 2 more minutes
- place in greased bowl, covered in greased plastic wrap
- set in warm place until doubled
- shape dough into greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 loaf pans, covered in greased plastic wrap
- ket rise in warm place until doubled
- bake at 375º for 40 minutes
- variation: may subsitute 1 c. all-purpose flour with whole wheat
- yield: 2 loaves
