traditional sweet roll dough

  1. mix together
    • 2 T. yeast
    • ½ c. warm water
  2. knead in
    • ½ c. milk (scalded then cooled)
    • ½ c. sugar
    • 1 t. salt
    • 2 eggs
    • ½ butter
    • 4½-5 c. flour
  3. cover, letting rise until doubled in size
  4. punch down dough, forming into rolls
  5. cover, letting rise until doubled in size (about 30 minutes)
  6. bake at 375°
